VISION & GOAL

KSV is a school with a difference sponsored by Kanchi Sankara Mission Educational Cultural and Social Trust Tiruchendur. Though English is the medium of instruction and the campus language, due emphasis is also given to Tamil and Hindi. School prospectus describes the special features of the school.

• Ensure that your child attends school regularly in neat school uniform.
• Do not send your child to school when he or she is ill.
• Ensure that your child is escorted safety to school and back home.
• Carry out surprise checks of the bags of your child.
• Read the circulars and SMS as and when sent by the school.
• Attend Parent – Teacher meetings.
• See that your child brings text books as per the time table given.
• Ensure that your children bring home daily class work and note books as per the given schedule.
• Look into your child’s school Diary daily and see that the home work is done regularly.
• Pursue and sign the remarks made in the diary regularly.
• If you feel or notice that your child is not making the desired progress, kindly meet the Principal.
• Address a leave application to the Principal through the class teacher prior to the absence of your child duty signed by you.
• Ensure that your child attends all the test during the academic year.

• Be a regular Scholar.
• Come to school in clean and tidy school uniform.
• Be on time for the morning assembly.
• Observe silence and take active part.
• Extend your help in maintaining campus cleanliness.
• Do not letter the campus.
• Never disfigure walls or damage furniture.
• Report damage or loss immediately to the class teacher.
• Do not loiter out of class during the session.
• Always move in a line.
• Bring only the prescribed text books & note books
• Take care of your personal belongings
• While going out of the school, when school is in session, obtain a gate- pass.
• Be an active participant in every activity of the school.
• Follow the advice and suggestions given by the teachers.

Dress code :

• Students’ hair should be well groomed at all times.
• Extreme style and hair coloring are not permitted.
• Boys should maintain a short hair.
• Girls should not leave their hair free.
• Girls have to tie their hairs with black ribbons.
• Clutch clips are not allowed.
• Flowers, jingling anklets, dangling ear rings, colour stone bandies, nail polish, lipsticks, bangles should be avoided by girls.
• All students should avoid the usage of cosmetics
